We’ll provide a high-resolution barcode for your back cover, sized to fit the final print layout.

Metadata preparation

We’ll help you write and organise the essential metadata used in online and catalogue listings, including:

• Title and subtitle
• Author name
• Book description/blurb
• Contributor roles (e.g. illustrator, editor)
• Category/BISAC codes
• Keywords and search terms
• Language, page count, publication date and territory rights

Optional listing support

If we’re handling your Amazon submission, we’ll apply your metadata directly to the platform, ensuring it matches your files and cover.

• Your manuscript title and author name
• Your preferred publishing name or imprint (we can advise)
• Book format (paperback, hardback, Kindle, etc.)
• Target audience and genre
• Any relevant contributors (e.g. illustrator, co-author)

We’ll take care of the technical aspects and ensure everything is applied correctly to your files and listings.

Publishing as an Independent Author

You can choose to:

• Publish under your own name and imprint (we’ll guide you)
• Use the Snowdon Press imprint for simplicity and professionalism
• Either way, you retain full control and all rights to your book. Our role is to ensure the infrastructure is sound and the details are right.
